Welcome! Please read these policies before booking a class, Torch Time session, or purchasing products. They’re here to make sure your experience runs smoothly and everyone knows what to expect.

Acknowledgment

By using this website, booking a class, or purchasing a product, you agree to all policies listed on this page.

If you have any questions or need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Booking Policy (Classes & Torch Time)

Booking & Confirmation

  • All class and Torch Time bookings are confirmed via email once payment has been received.

  • Please allow up to 24 hours for confirmation. Your selected date and time are provisional until confirmed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made by email to kinga@kingasdesigns.com.

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for store credit (no cash refunds).

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class or session are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.

  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to a friend instead of cancelling.

  • Rescheduling is possible with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may shorten your session to avoid impacting other bookings. Full fees still apply.

Age & Experience Requirements

  • Age: Participants must be 16 or older.

  • Beginner Classes: Open to absolute beginners.

  • Intermediate Classes: Completion of a beginner class (or equivalent experience) required.

  • Advanced Classes & Torch Time: Intermediate skills (or equivalent experience) required.

Health & Safety

  • All sessions are conducted in a safe, supervised environment.

  • Safety equipment, including protective eyewear, is provided.

  • By attending, you agree to follow all safety instructions.

Torch Time Specifics

  • Torch Time is available by the hour.

  • It’s a relaxed, self-directed session – I’m nearby if you need help, but this is your time to create at your own pace.

  • Session length is subject to availability.

Product Policy

Handmade Variation

  • Most pieces are handmade, especially lampwork glass items. Small variations in colour, size, or shape are normal and are part of the handmade process.

Processing Time

  • Orders are prepared and packed within 1–3 business days.

Pricing

  • All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and may change without notice.

Payment

  • Payments are securely processed through Stripe or PayPal.

  • Your card details are never stored on our website.

• Other locations as shown at checkout

Shipping Methods

  • Shipping options and prices are shown during checkout.

  • Most orders are posted in secure padded envelopes.

Customs & Import Fees

International customers are responsible for:
• customs duties
• VAT/GST in their country
• import taxes or handling fees

These are not included in the checkout price.

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times vary by country. Once posted, your parcel is handled by NZ Post and your local postal service.

Lost or Delayed Packages

  • We are not responsible for postal delays once the package has been handed over to the carrier.

  • If your package appears lost, please contact us and we will help where possible.

Incorrect Addresses

  • Please double-check your shipping address.

  • We cannot refund or replace orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Returns & Refunds Policy (Products)

Returns

  • Returns are accepted for unused items in original condition within 3 days of delivery.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and custom reasons, these items cannot be returned:
• earrings (unless faulty)
• custom or personalised items
• used or worn pieces
• items without original packaging

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can assist.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
